Ms. Marcela was my homeroom teacher when I was in m,y last year of school. I remember she was an excellent teacher, always well-prepared for her lessons, which were interactive, and she was always willing to help us with any doubts. Her teaching style made a real difference in how I approached learning. With her, I learned how to write essays and cite in APA format. At the time, we also had to complete research projects, which I thought were unnecessary because we were still in high school. They seemed boring and a bit tedious. However, as time went on, I realized that those projects, and the skills she taught us, were crucial. Thanks to her guidance, I learned how to structure and write essays correctly, which has been incredibly useful in university. Now, I know that writing and researching are essential skills, and I’m grateful that she introduced them to us early on. The last time I saw her was last year when I visited my old school. It was such a pleasant surprise to reconnect with her, and I was reminded of how much I appreciated her dedication and the lasting impact she had on my education.
